Congratulations to Annette Barham, CPS/CAP on receiving the
"Administrative Professional of the Year 2011" award.
The Chapter could have not chosen any member more deserving for this award. Annette joined the Galveston County Chapter in August 2005 and became extremely active right from the start. She immediately started studying for her certifications and earned her CPS in 2006 and earned her CAP in 2007. Annette also has earned the IAAP Member of Excellence every year since its inception in 2008. All this didn’t slow her down any as she served tirelessly as the Certification/Education Chair facilitating and encouraging others with an exam Study Group. Annette has served as the Arrangements Chair and has served on numerous other committees. Let’s just say that she’s always the positive voice saying “Let’s do it” and is the first to step up to volunteer to lead us to success. Speaking of success, Annette has also proven her leadership skills by serving on the Executive Board the past three years climbing the ranks from Vice-President, President-Elect, and as President 2010-2011, she lead our chapter to another successful “Chapter of Excellence”. Her accomplishments go beyond serving our chapter as she has served at the Texas-Louisiana Division (T-L) level for the past two years at their annual meetings as a Page and was a finalist for the “T-L Division Member of the Year 2010”. Annette is a true asset to IAAP, the T-L Division and especially our chapter. Please join our chapter as we proudly recognize and congratulate Annette as Galveston County Chapter "Administrative Professional of the Year 2011".
